20+ years of experience fishing in the Pacific Northwest. Guiding professionally since 2022. Fully licensed and insured. First aid and CPR certified.

January through March, we are in the drift boat on the Oregon Coast or in the Clackamas river chasing winter steelhead. April through July are spent in the sled following spring chinook salmon in the Willamette and Columbia rivers. If ocean conditions cooperate, I like to target rockfish, ling cod, and dungeness during this time too. August is Buoy 10 in Astoria. During September and October, I follow the salmon up the Columbia river until it starts to rain. When the rain comes, I'm usually back in the drift boat at the coast up until around Thanksgiving. I'll bounce around a bit in the Columbia from September through November to chase coho too.
